Microdermabrasion

Our specially trained technicians use the most advanced skin resurfacing Microdermabrasion system featuring the DiamondTome™ wand which has the polishing action of diamond chips and the cleaning action of a vacuum. The DiamondTome™ wand removes the topmost layer of the skin with natural diamond chips which remove the dead skin cells away in a sterile controlled manner. Removing this outer layer of dead skin cells leaves a smoother texture and promotes the growth of healthy new collagen.

How does the DiamondTome™ system compare to Particle Microdermabrasion?

The DiamondTome™ method is safer than the particle microderabrasion method because there are no loose particles to irritate the skin, affect your breathing or contaminate your environment. DiamondTome™ Microdermabrasion is an innovative method to safely exfoliate the outer epidermal layer of the skin removing dead skin cells to reveal the fresh, younger, healthier looking skin beneath without risking your respiratory health with airborne particles.

How does DiamondTome™ Microderabrasion compare with other treatments?

DiamondTome™ Microdermabration is a wonderful alternative to laser or chemical peels because it is non-invasive, non-surgical and requires no down time after treatment.

How many treatments are necessary to get results?

Patients experience softer, smoother and cleaner skin after the first treatment. Treatment series are usually recommended, however, and vary from four to ten sessions depending on the condition being treated and the patient’s skin type. Dr Peace or the Medical Estheticians will advise.

What conditions does Microdermabrasion treat?

Microdermabrasion is recommended for sun damaged skin (face, neck, shoulders), age spots (hands, face), reduction of minor to moderate early aging fine lines(eyes, forehead), reduction of acne scars, extraction of blackheads and whiteheads, minor scar revision, hyperpigmentation reduction, reduction of oily skin, and rejuvenation for skin health.
